Saturday night saw PSG Combined Choirs from Bath, Chippenham, Devizes and Swindon headline a concert in
aid of OPEN DOORS DEVIZES. The leading acts were kicked off by Andrew Hurst on guitar and lute, Chloe
Jordan a great vocalist, the Will Blake Trio and (following a quick costume change by Will) the combine PSG
with over 50 choristers.

The programme included several first public performances of If I Aint got you, Colder Weather, Isn’t She Lovely
and I Can See Clearly Now all received with tremendous enthusiasm from the sell-out audience that packed
the Corn Exchange.

The choir were in really good voice as the social at The Pewsham” the previous Thursday gave all the play list
a really relaxed opportunity for the combined choirs to hone their vocal talents. The time between sound-
checks and the post-interval performance gave the PSG members a great opportunity to get to know each
other – the concert ended with a real party atmosphere – well done to all and thanks to Dora Kan (one of our
long standing Sopranos) for organising the concert and thanks of course to our leader Will Blake – his energy
is boundless – (what’s he on?!!!)

If you like this sort of music, why not try it for yourself and come along to any of our weekly sessions –
Monday in Devizes, Tuesday in Bath, Wednesday in Swindon and Thursday in Chippenham – see our website
