Will Editing the new resources
Team PSG in Malmesbury on the hunt for new venues (we succeeded and celebrated with ice cream!!!)
Last month at our amazing Wiltshire Choir, we took on a big challenge and asked for feedback from all our fabulous PSG members from Chippenham, Calne, Trowbridge, Melksham and Devizes. Whether your membership was from Day 1 or joining us in our 7th year we wanted to hear the thoughts, views and ideas of everyone!
It was a challenge to collate such important data but it was worth it as it will help us to shape and develop PSG Choirs as we move forward. There were some great points and interesting views on lots of different subjects and we have already started to implement change in the business to reflect what we have learned.
The choir questionnaire was far-reaching and Will, our choir leader has responded to it directly via email but we thought this blog would show you we are already taking strides forward in actioning those responses.
This week we began creating new resources. This is a mammoth task as with over 60 songs with at least 4 different parts for each and the new song sheet to be added it’s going to take a lot of hours to be complete but with the goal set to have the new look resources ready to go by September we are confident it will be time well spent. The goal is to provide quality recordings that are easy to access and that will help with those who have missed a session or perhaps like to consolidate what they have learned during a session or for brushing up to be performance ready.
We are already moving forward with other areas of the feedback including planning the online shop and sourcing it’s merchandise.
Our next step is creating a more interactive members section on the website and we will tell you much more about this in our next blog!
But for now we want to keep you up to date with the behind the scenes progress and we hope it helps you to know that we value your voice!
